This is a vintage Christian Lacroix silk necktie made during the to early 1990s. This vintage Christian Lacroix silk necktie is printed with an abstract pattern in tones of green, blue, sienna brown, red, lime and orange. The tie is in very good condition with no noted wear, soiling, odour or staining. The content/care label states “100% Silk Made in Italy” while the lining at the wide end reads “Christian Lacroix Paris”. This tie measures 57 1/2” in length and has a width of 4” at its widest - that width is consistent with the dating of the tie to the early 90s. Lacroix was an important designer who established his own fashion house in 1987, extending his line to menswear in the 1990s.
